			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Founded in 1981, Community Food Share is the food bank of Boulder and Broomfield counties. The organization collects food donations from different benefactors. Programs run by Community Food Share include Feeding Families program which provides free food to families who have school-children. Most beneficiaries of the organization are families living in poverty. Community Food Share has local and global mission. The domestic mission of the organization is that no one in Boulder and Broomfield Counties goes hungry. The global goal of the organization is that people from all over the world gets access to nutritious food. Car donations are very much welcome. Community Food Share works with Cars for Colorado in receiving vehicle donations. Aside from donating funds and foods, an interested person can also get involved by becoming a volunteer. To be able to implement its programs and projects, Community Food Share is mostly dependent on the volunteers. Volunteers can help out in the activities on the food banks or conduct their own food drives. Getting busy for such a good cause of helping alleviate hunger of those in need is really a fulfilling way of spending time.</p>

The organization has several programs dedicated to raising food, funds and distribution. These programs are: Channel One Food Bank; Channel One Food Shelf; Green Garden; and, Commodity Supplemental Food Program. People who are interested in helping Channel One can either give funds, corporate food donation, food, or time. Channel One Solution invites everyone to join the fight against hunger and become part of the solution. In three words, the invitation is either to donate, to advocate, and to volunteer. The organization welcomes volunteers who can assist in the performance and execution of its projects. Aside from monetary and food donations, vehicle donations are also welcome. Car donations in favor of Channel One can be done through Cars 4 Charities, a partner organization. Because of its good advocacy and the effective way of management, Channel One is given the rate of four stars by Charity Navigator.</p>

The organization was formed in 1982. Arkansas Rice Depot distributes over 8 million pounds of food each year. The organization is able to feed as much as 14% of the state&#8217;s population. All over the state of Arkansas, there are 300 pantries in all 75 counties. The four core programs of Arkansas Rice Depot are: food for families; food for kids; food for seniors; and, disaster for relief. The president and CEO of Arkansas Rice Depot for the past 27 years is Laura Rhea. Laura developed Food for Kids in Arkansas. She has also developed Simple Pleasures, a gourmet gift shop that sells Rice Depot line of products. The organization has a small staff and spends almost 98 percent of its budget financing its advocacy. Gifts to end hunger can be done through the website of Arkansas Rice Depot. Aside from the usual type of donations, the organization also accepts vehicle donations. Arkansas Rice Depot has been a recipient of Recycled Rides, a national vehicle donation program.</p>

The services include the ownership and operation of housing for the poor. The center was established in 1968 by Monsignor Joseph Farrell. The tag line of the Friendship Center is &#8220;Our work is love made visible.&#8221; The programs of the Friendship Center are: emergency shelter; community kitchen; transitional living; emergency needs; and, ministry. Indeed, the Friendship center was able to grow in offering services for the poor, hungry and hopeless, notwithstanding its humble beginnings. Friendship Center conducts fundraisers to have funds necessary for the successful implementation of its programs. There are three ways to give donations for the benefit of Friendship Center. Donations can be done online or by mail. In-kind donations are also very much welcome. In-kind donations can be dropped off to the office or it could be picked up, depending on the will of the donor. The organization was founded in 1983 in Los Angeles. It has been proven to be successful in helping the school and children beneficiaries. DARE is the international trademark for the organization, in partnership with police officers, parents and schools. In order to appeal to the general population, DARE has a special website for kids which would entice their joyful personality. This year, there are millions of school children who benefit from DARE. DARE distributes curricula for its program which will be passed on to its beneficiaries, the school youth. This place is meant to protect and care for the neglected and abused children. This is a unique program to support the foster system by giving emergency residential care for the children. Safety net is how the Kids Charity helps a family in need by providing services like funeral subsidy, utilities, counselling, home and vehicle support and others. In addition to basic services, the organization also provides school supplies for its children beneficiaries. During holiday seasons, Kids Charity also makes sure that the beneficiaries would find happiness by receiving holiday gifts from the organization. There are many ways to donate for the benefit of Kids Charity. Vehicle donations are also accepted by Kids Charity. The vehicle needs to be in good running condition.
